The Strategy Board program is a 10-week intensive workshop that prepares students for interviews and roles in real estate equity, real estate debt, and investment banking. Applicants must possess an understanding of real estate fundamentals through prior participation in SREG’s Mentorship Program, work experience, or academic classes. At the end of the program, members put their technical skills to the test in a comprehensive case study: given a portfolio of properties varying in asset type, location, condition, and risk profile, members must determine which assets to acquire, how much capital to allocate to each, and how to structure the deal financially. Teams then pitch their investment thesis to a panel of industry professionals, defend their underwriting assumptions, and show why their portfolio offers the strongest risk-adjusted return.
